The Medici Experience brings you together with people of diverse
backgrounds yet one common purpose—to propel you and your
organization forward through inspiration and ingenuity. During this intense,
day long workshop, world-renowned innovation expert Frans Johansson
will demonstrate how you can use existing resources, assets, skills, and
relationships to address business challenges in creative new ways.
What can I expect at The Medici Experience?

entertaining, and completely transformational event that you

- Brainstorm to solve company-specific problems by generating new ideas for products/services
- Prioritize your ideas by discovering which ideas really are the most promising
- Prepare for roadblocks that might emerge and mitigate risk
- Develop action plans to implement innovative ideas including identifying current clients who can use these products/services
Session 1: Unleash an explosion of ideas
Frans begins with an inspiring presentation on The Medici Effect.
Afterwards, you move quickly to map out your organization’s resources,
assets, skills, and relationships. Then, you learn how to leverage these
building blocks as you brainstorm inventive new ways to meet your most
difficult challenges.
Session 2: Selecting and improving groundbreaking ideas
Here is where you discover how to break down barriers between
people from different departments, industries, fields, and cultures. Through
a rapid succession of connecting exercises, you help each other
advance ideas and learn how to apply these techniques in your
everyday work. Finally, you prioritize your ideas and single out the most
promising one.
Session 3: Planning for mistakes and failures
Innovation is impossible without mistakes and failures. In this session,
you will learn how you can improvise after mistakes, minimize their
impact, and learn from their lessons. This remarkable session will
prepare you to navigate obstacles as you move forward with your new
strategic direction.
Session 4: Get going and execute!
This is where you will create your action plan for the product or service
you’ve been nurturing. You will also identify the people and partners
you need to move forward, quickly and inexpensively.
By day’s end, the Medici Experience will send you on your way with new tools and strategies for innovation and have you ready to face any challenge. More important, you will leave with specific ideas and the right outlook and plan to pursue them.
